FUSION DANCE WORKSHOP

DESOD's annual Summer Dance Intensive with Fusion Dance Workshop is open to all levels of dancers ages 7-18.    Dancers from other studios are welcome to attend this amazing workshop and do not have to be interested in auditioning for our AP Program.

Our Summer Dance Workshop offers outstanding training to dancers looking to increase versatility and develop skills in all genres of dance including contemporary, lyrical, jazz, tap, hip-hop, musical theater, ballet, conditioning, technique, improvisation and more!  We provide you with some of the industry’s leading professionals in a caring, nurturing and energized environment.   The outstanding Fusion Dance Workshop Faculty featuring Orialis Ashley from Syncopated Ladies, Lillian Manansala, choreographer from the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon, Katie McIver Wrolstad, and Kevin Hermann, creates a unique program that is inspiring for promising young dancers looking to be challenged, while remaining sensitive to the developmental needs of young dancers.

**Fusion is MANDATORY for students wishing to audition for our Advanced Placement Competition Program. All dancers interested in auditioning for our AP Program are required to attend.  The audition will be held after the Workshop in August

LUNCH

Don’t forget that students in the 5 day Camp will have a lunch break from 12:00-1:00.  We prefer for students to remain on site and bring a sack lunch or have parents/babysitters bring them lunch.  Students may not leave during the lunch break without a signed and dated note from a parent or guardian clearly stating the day and time the student may leave.  No exceptions!  Please eat lunch only in the designated areas.  DO NOT eat in the upstairs studio or the two downstairs where classes are being held.
