Ron Wilbur, native from Atlanta, Georgia, graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Music Education, Voice emphasis. While studying there, he was able to broaden his knowledge on all things music-related: ranging the learning spectrum from classroom management to the effective stylings of a jazz vocalist. He has had the opportunity to perform, in Central Kentucky, such roles as the title-role of Sweeney Todd, Colehouse Walker, Jr. in Ragtime ; and the Cowardly Lion in The Wiz . Ron was also featured on NBC's hit television series, "The Sing-Off" (Season 4) with the University of Kentucky "acoUstiKats." Along with performing, Mr. Wilbur has led many sessions and workshops covering the pedagogy of the singers body, stage presence, and acting techniques, here in the states and abroad, but serves right here in the Bluegrass as an arts facilitator for many organizations in Central Kentucky.
